Yusr Current
The account you actually use. Salary lands in it, cards spend from it, bills leave it on time — and for the first time you can see all of that in one place without exporting anything.
One Current account per customer. You'll get a Saudi IBAN the moment your application is approved, so you can hand it to payroll the same day.

The account
A current account with nothing bolted on
Yusr Current is a Saudi Riyal current account with its own IBAN. It receives your salary, holds your balance, pays your bills and funds your Yusr Card. There is no minimum balance, no monthly fee and no fee for keeping money in it.
What makes it different is the record it keeps. Your account holds your balance, your full transaction history going back to the day you opened it, the standing orders and direct debits you've set up, and the details of every card linked to the account — all of it searchable in the app, none of it locked behind a request form.
Everything below is included. There is no premium tier to upgrade to.
You know the second it happens
A push notification for every card tap, transfer, direct debit and deposit — with the merchant name, the amount and the balance left.
Spending sorts itself
Every transaction is filed into a category automatically. Groceries, fuel, eating out, bills, subscriptions — no receipts to tag, no spreadsheet to keep.
Free stays free
No monthly fee, no minimum balance, no charge for incoming SARIE transfers or for sending money to another Yusr customer.

Notifications
No more finding out at the end of the month
Most people only discover a problem when the statement arrives. We'd rather tell you while you're still standing at the till.
Every movement, in real time. Card payments, withdrawals, transfers in and out, standing orders, direct debits and refunds.
Choose what reaches you. Turn the small stuff down to a daily summary and keep the big ones instant. Anything we send about security or suspected fraud always comes through.
Set your own thresholds. Tell us to shout when the balance drops below a number you pick, or when a single payment goes over one.
Money in
Get paid into it on day one
Your IBAN is issued as soon as the account opens. Give it to payroll and your salary arrives the same way it always did — only now you'll know it landed before HR does.
Salary transfer
Hand your employer the IBAN from the app — you can copy it or share a PDF confirmation letter with your name and account number on it, which is what most payroll teams ask for.
Incoming transfers
Money sent from any bank in the Kingdom over SARIE reaches your account within seconds, day or night, weekends and holidays included. Incoming transfers are free.
From other Yusr customers
Instant, free, and it shows up with the sender's name and note attached instead of a reference number nobody can read. More on Yusr Send.
Money out
Standing orders and direct debits, without the branch visit
Rent on the first. School fees in September. The gym you keep meaning to cancel. Set them up in the app and change them there too.
A standing order is an amount you choose, on a date you choose, to an account you choose — you stay in control of all three. A direct debit is set up by the company you're paying, so the amount can change with your bill.
Either way, we tell you the evening before a payment is due to leave, so a surprise bill never becomes a returned one. You can pause, edit or cancel a standing order up until the moment it runs.

A proper statement, the way the embassy wants it
Stamped, formatted and dated — the document you need for a visa application, a tenancy, or your own records.
Your statement is ready on the first working day of each month. It lands in the app under Documents and goes to your registered email address the same morning, so there's always a copy outside the app if you lose your phone. You can also pull a statement for any date range you like and download it as a PDF straight away.
Every statement covers the same ground: the opening and closing balance, each transaction in the period with its date, merchant and category, any standing orders and direct debits that ran, and the last four digits of the card used.
Alerts and statements come to you
Service messages — a payment alert, a low-balance warning, your monthly statement, a security check on a new device — reach you as a push notification in the app, by email at your registered address, and by SMS to your registered mobile number. Marketing is separate: you choose whether you get it, and you can switch it off without touching any of the above.

Eligibility
Who can open a Yusr Current account
Three things, and most people have all of them already.
You're 18 or older. We don't currently offer accounts for under-18s.
You hold a valid Saudi national ID or Iqama. It has to be in date on the day you apply — an expired Iqama is the single most common reason an application stops.
Your mobile number is Saudi and registered in your own name. We send security codes to it, so it can't be a family member's line or a work handset.
What the application asks for
About eight minutes, entirely in the app. Have these to hand and you won't have to stop halfway:
- 1 Your ID or Iqama, to scan both sides
- 2 A quick selfie, taken somewhere with decent light
- 3 Your employer, income range and what you'll use the account for
- 4 A delivery address for your Yusr Card
Most applications are approved in under an hour. See the full process.
Questions
Things people ask before they open one
It's free. There is no monthly fee, no annual fee, no minimum balance and no dormancy charge, and none of that depends on paying your salary in or spending a certain amount. We make money on the fees listed in the table above, on card interchange when you spend, and on lending. If we ever change a fee we'll tell you in the app and by email at least 30 days beforehand.
Yes. Yusr Current is a full current account with a Saudi IBAN, and it takes salary transfers over SARIE like any other bank in the Kingdom. Copy your IBAN from the app and give it to your HR or payroll team.
If payroll asks for a letter on headed paper, generate an IBAN confirmation letter from Documents in the app. It carries your name, account number and IBAN, and it's accepted by every employer we've come across so far.
Open Documents in the app, pick the month you need or set your own date range, and download the PDF. It's issued in the format embassies and letting agents expect, with your name, account number, the period covered and the opening and closing balance.
Monthly statements are also emailed to your registered address on the first working day of each month, so there's usually one sitting in your inbox already.
We warn you the evening before every scheduled payment, so you have time to move money across. If the balance is still short when the payment is due, the standing order doesn't run and we tell you straight away — we don't let the account go overdrawn and we don't charge you a failed-payment fee.
You can retry it yourself from the app once the money's there, or move the payment to a date that suits your salary better.
Yes. Categories are assigned automatically from the merchant, and they're right the vast majority of the time — but not always, especially for small independent shops. Tap the transaction, choose a different category, and tell us whether to apply it to future payments to that merchant as well.
You can also split a single payment across two categories, which is handy when the supermarket run included a birthday present.
