Yusr passes 500,000 customers
Half a million people across the Kingdom now hold a Yusr Current account, sixteen months after the app launched. Riyadh, Jeddah and the Eastern Province account for most of the growth.
Yusr completes multi-region resilience programme
A year-long engineering programme now lets Yusr keep the app available from a second region if the primary one is disrupted. The first full failover rehearsal ran in February.
Yusr launches Yusr Later with Taysir Finance
Customers can now split eligible purchases into four payments with no interest and no fees when paid on time. The plans are provided by Taysir Finance Company, a separate SAMA-licensed lender.
Yusr opens regional service hub
A new hub adds overnight and weekend cover so customers reach a person in Arabic or English at any hour. Around 120 advisors joined in the first phase.
Yusr partners with Verimo to cut account opening to minutes
Identity document checks and face matching now happen inside the app rather than by manual review. The median application fell from just over two days to under ten minutes.
