How it works

Four steps, and three of them happen without you

Split at the till or split afterwards. Either way the schedule is fixed the moment you confirm it.

01

Check your limit

Open Yusr Later in the app and tap Check eligibility. You'll see your available limit in under a minute, before you go shopping.

02

Pay the first quarter

Choose Split at checkout, or tap any eligible purchase from the last 72 hours and split it after the fact. A quarter comes out straight away.

03

We collect the rest

Three payments, one every fourteen days, taken automatically from your Yusr Current account. We remind you two days before each one.

04

Done in six weeks

The plan closes itself. Want it gone sooner? Pay the balance off early from the plan screen at no extra cost.

A real example

A SAR 1,200 sofa, paid as four times SAR 300

You buy a sofa on 2 August for SAR 1,200. You pay SAR 300 in the shop. The next three payments come out on the 16th, the 30th and the 13th of September.

Six weeks later you've paid SAR 1,200 in total. Not SAR 1,240, not SAR 1,260. There is no arrangement fee, no admin fee, no interest and no charge for paying early. If the sofa goes back, the plan unwinds with it.

Where it works

Two ways to split

Limits and eligibility are the same either way. Only the moment you choose to split changes.

Anywhere your Yusr Card works

Pay with the card as normal — in a shop, online, or with the card in your phone wallet. When the purchase lands in your feed it gets a Split button next to it for 72 hours. Tap it and the schedule starts from that day.

  • Works with mada, and with online purchases on the international rails
  • Nothing to tell the cashier, and the merchant is paid in full immediately
  • Fuel, cash withdrawals, transfers and government payments can't be split

At a partner merchant, at checkout

Around 4,200 stores and online shops in the Kingdom show Yusr Later as a payment option. Pick it, confirm the plan in the app, and you're done — the four payments are agreed before you leave the checkout.

  • Furniture and home, electronics, fashion, eyewear, travel and clinics
  • The split is shown on the merchant's page, so you see it before you commit
  • Partner list lives in the app under Yusr Later › Where to use

Eligibility

Who can use Yusr Later

Everyone starts with a check. It runs inside the app, takes under a minute, and tells you exactly what you can spend before you spend it.

You're 18 or over, resident in the Kingdom, with a valid national ID or Iqama.

You've had a Yusr Current account for at least 30 days and it's in good standing.

Regular money coming into the account, so the payments have something to come out of.

No missed payments on an existing Yusr Later plan.

Starting limits are usually between SAR 1,000 and SAR 5,000, with a maximum of SAR 8,000 across all your open plans and up to four plans running at once. Limits are reviewed as you go, and can go down as well as up.

What happens when you tap "Check eligibility"

Yusr Later is provided in partnership with Taysir Finance Company, a finance company licensed by the Saudi Central Bank. When you apply, your application and your identity details are shared with Taysir, who carry out their own affordability assessment and decide whether to approve you and for how much.

That assessment includes a check of your credit record with the national credit bureau, SIMAH, along with how you've run your Yusr account. You'll see the outcome in the app the same minute, and your limit sits on the Yusr Later screen from then on.

If you're not approved, nothing changes on your account and you can ask again after 60 days. We'll tell you the main reason in the app.

Not available for

Cash withdrawals, transfers to other people, wallet top-ups, fuel, government fees, gift cards, gambling-adjacent merchants, and anything under SAR 200. Business accounts aren't eligible.

If a payment misses

We'd rather sort it than charge you

There is no late fee on Yusr Later. Not a reduced one, not a capped one. If a payment doesn't go through, here's exactly what follows.

Talk to someone about a plan

Day 0 — we try again

If the balance isn't there on the due date, we retry the same evening and again the next morning, and send you a notification each time so nothing happens quietly.

Day 3 — the plan pauses

You can't open new plans while a payment is outstanding, and your available limit is held. Existing plans carry on as scheduled. You can pay the missed amount from the plan screen at any point.

Day 30 — it goes on your record

An amount still unpaid after 30 days is reported to the national credit bureau by Taysir Finance Company, which can affect finance you apply for elsewhere. Call us before it gets there — arrangements are easier early.

Borrow carefully

Splitting a payment doesn't make it smaller

SAR 1,200 spread over six weeks is still SAR 1,200. Four small numbers feel easier than one big one, and that's exactly the thing to watch.

We cap plans at four at a time for a reason. Before you split something, add up what's already due in the next six weeks and ask whether the answer would be comfortable in a bad month, not a good one. If it wouldn't, don't split it.

Three habits worth keeping

  • Check Upcoming payments in the app before every new split, not after.
  • Keep the total of your open plans under a quarter of what comes in each month.
  • If money is tight this month, pay a plan off early rather than starting another.

Struggling with repayments?

Tell us early. Our team can pause collection attempts while we look at the plan with you, and there's no charge for asking. Call 8001 24 24 24 or use in-app chat, any hour of any day.

Questions

Yusr Later, answered

No. There's no interest, no arrangement fee, no monthly fee, no late fee and no charge for settling early. You pay the purchase price, divided by four. Merchants pay us a fee for offering the option, which is how the product works.

SAR 200 is the minimum. The maximum for a single purchase is your available limit, up to SAR 5,000. Across every open plan you can hold up to SAR 8,000 and up to four plans at once.

Your limit is set when you're approved and reviewed periodically after that. It can be reduced, including to zero, if the way your account is running changes.

Taysir Finance Company, a separate finance company licensed by the Saudi Central Bank. Yusr arranges Yusr Later and runs it inside the app; the agreement for each plan is between you and Taysir. You'll see the full terms in the app before you confirm your first plan.

Yes. Eligibility involves a check of your credit record with SIMAH, the national credit bureau, and your Yusr Later plans and payments are reported to the bureau in the normal way. Paying on time is recorded as well as missing.

Any time, from the plan screen, at no cost. You can also pay a single upcoming instalment ahead of its date if you'd rather clear it while the money is there.

Once the merchant processes the refund, the plan is adjusted automatically. A full refund cancels the remaining payments and returns anything you've already paid. A partial refund reduces the payments you have left, starting with the last one.

Keep paying on schedule until the refund shows in the app — merchant refunds can take a few working days, and stopping early creates a missed payment.

You can move one payment per plan forward by up to seven days, once, from the plan screen. Beyond that the schedule is fixed. If a date falls on a Friday or a public holiday, we take the payment the next working day.

Yes. Yusr Later runs off your Yusr Current account and Yusr Card — that's how payments are collected. Opening a Current account takes about eight minutes from your phone.
