Home/Yusr Goals
Save for it
without thinking
about it.
Name what you're saving for, put a number and a date on it, then let the spare change from your card and a small weekly transfer do the work. Ten goals at a time. No fees, no lock-in, no notice period.
Goals is included with every Yusr Current account. Money you set aside stays in your account and is covered by the same deposit protection.

Ways money goes in automatically
How a goal fills up
Three ways money goes in
Use one, use all three. You can change any of them from the goal itself, at any hour, without asking anyone.
Round-ups
Every card payment rounds up to the next riyal and the difference goes to your goal. Pay SAR 148.20 for groceries and SAR 0.80 moves across. Turn on a 2× or 5× multiplier if you want it to build faster.
Auto-save rules
A fixed amount, moved every week, every month, or on payday. Pick payday and Yusr moves the money the same day your salary lands, before the month has a chance to eat it.
Whenever you feel like it
Two taps to drop in a one-off amount — the end of a good month, a refund that landed, the SAR 250 a friend sent back through Yusr Send.
A real week of round-ups
Small change adds up quietly
Here is one ordinary week of card payments and what each one rounded up to. Nothing here felt like saving at the time.
| Payment | Amount | Rounded up |
|---|---|---|
| Tamimi Markets | 148.20 | 0.80 |
| Barn's Coffee | 17.50 | 0.50 |
| Careem | 26.75 | 0.25 |
| Nahdi Pharmacy | 63.10 | 0.90 |
| Al Baik | 31.00 | — |
| Panda | 89.35 | 0.65 |
| Jarir Bookstore | 312.50 | 0.50 |
Al Baik was already a whole riyal, so there was nothing to round. We never invent a round-up where one doesn't exist.
Same numbers, one month
Keep that up and a SAR 6,000 laptop is paid for in thirteen months — without a single month where the saving hurt.
Round-ups never overdraw you
If your Current balance is too low to cover a round-up, we skip it. No fee, no failed transfer, no note on your record. It picks up again with your next payment.
Auto-save rules
A number you can actually keep up with
The reason most saving plans die in week three is that the number was wrong from the start. So we suggest one instead of making you guess.
When you set up a weekly rule, Yusr looks at how money has moved through your account over the last three months — what comes in, what leaves for rent, bills and the standing commitments that repeat every month — and works out what's genuinely spare. Then it proposes a weekly amount that fits, alongside the amount you'd need to hit your date exactly. If those two numbers disagree, you'll see both, and you decide which one wins.
Change it, pause it, or ignore the suggestion entirely. It's a starting point, not a decision.
Set your weekly amount
SAR 100
We'd suggest SAR 100 a week. That's what your last three months leave spare once your regular commitments have gone out.
SAR 135 a week hits 31 December. Tighter, but it lands you on your date with nothing to catch up.
Staying on it
The app tells you where you stand
Every goal shows the amount in, the amount left, and the date you're actually heading for — not the date you hoped for when you set it up.
Nudges arrive as a notification and sit on the goal itself. Turn them off per goal, or all together, under Settings › Notifications. Fraud alerts and statements are separate and always stay on.
When you slip behind
"You're about three weeks behind your December date. Adding SAR 30 a week closes the gap." Nothing dramatic, no guilt.
When you've had a quiet month
Spent less than usual? We'll say so, and offer to lift the weekly amount while it's easy. One tap to accept, one to dismiss.
When you get there
The goal marks itself complete and stops taking money. Spend it, or roll the whole thing into the next goal.
Getting it back
It's your money the whole time
Money in a goal never leaves your Yusr Current account. It's set aside from your spendable balance so you don't reach for it by accident — that's all a goal is.
Instant withdrawal. Move any amount back to your spendable balance and it's there before you close the app.
No penalty, no notice. Take it out on day two of a twelve-month goal if you need to. Nothing is charged and nothing is lost.
Same protection. Because it stays in your account, it carries the same deposit protection as the rest of your balance.
Closing a goal is one tap. Everything in it returns to your spendable balance immediately.

Questions
Before you set your first one
Card payments made with your Yusr Card — in a shop, online, or abroad. Cash withdrawals, transfers through Yusr Send, SARIE transfers, direct debits and Yusr Later instalments don't round up, because there's rarely anything sensible to round.
Round-ups feed one goal at a time — the one you mark as active. You can switch which goal receives them whenever you like, and the change applies from your next card payment. Auto-save rules are separate, so several goals can each have their own.
We try once, and if the money isn't there we skip that transfer and try again on the next scheduled date. No fee, no overdraft, and the goal simply moves a little later. You'll see a note on the goal so it isn't a mystery.
It watches for the salary credit that arrives on roughly the same date each month and moves your amount the same day it lands. If your pay date shifts — and in most months it does — the transfer shifts with it. If nothing arrives that month, nothing moves.
No. Goals is a way to set money aside inside your Current account, not an investment or a term deposit. Nothing is paid on the balance and nothing is charged for holding it.
Yes — per goal or all at once, under Settings › Notifications in the app. The goal keeps running exactly as before, you just stop hearing about it. Security and fraud alerts sit outside this setting and can't be switched off.
The goal marks itself complete, stops collecting, and tells you. From there you can move the money to your spendable balance, leave it where it is, or roll it straight into a new goal without withdrawing first.
Start with one goal
