Ways to reach us
A real person, at any hour
Yusr support runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Chat is the fastest route for almost everything. Phone is better when something is urgent — a card you can't use, a payment you didn't make.
Whichever way you get in touch, the agent can already see your account and your recent transactions, so you won't be asked to read out numbers you've just typed into the app. We keep a record of your past chats and tickets too, which means if you come back to the same problem next week you don't have to tell the story again from the beginning.

From outside the Kingdom, dial +966 11 220 4444. Standard call charges apply from mobile networks.
Calls to Yusr may be recorded for training and quality purposes.
Write to hello@yusr.com.sa. Include your full name and the mobile number registered on your account. Never send your PIN, full card number or a one-time password by email — we will never ask for them.
Topic 01
Account and app
Everything about getting in, staying in, and keeping your details current. If your question is about opening an account for the first time, the application page walks through each step.
Download the app on the new phone and sign in with your registered mobile number. We'll send a one-time code to that number and ask you to confirm one recent transaction from memory — the merchant, roughly the amount. Once you're in, the app on the old phone is signed out automatically.
If your number has changed as well, that's a different job: call us on 920 00 4444 before you get rid of the old SIM, because the code has to reach you somewhere.
Profile → Personal details. Email and address update immediately. Changing your mobile number needs a code sent to the old number and a code sent to the new one, so keep both SIMs to hand for a couple of minutes.
Your national address is pulled from your Absher record when you open the account. If it looks wrong here, correct it there first and it will refresh on your next sign-in.
Your IBAN sits at the top of the account screen — tap it once to copy, twice to share it as an image with your name and account details on it, which is usually what HR or a landlord is asking for.
Statements live under Account → Statements. Monthly PDFs are generated on the first of each month, stamped, and go back to the day you opened the account. You can also export a date range as a CSV file if you keep your own books.
Yusr is an app-first bank. The app is where you open the account, move money, manage your card and talk to us. The website handles a smaller set of servicing tasks — statements, your details, and downloading documents you might need for a visa or a loan somewhere else.
We'd rather do one channel properly than two channels half well, and keeping payments in a single signed-in app makes it much harder for anyone to impersonate you.
Yes. Under Profile → Notifications you can switch off product news, offers and the monthly spending summary independently.
What you can't switch off are service messages: transaction alerts, security prompts when we see a new device, payment failures, and anything to do with a suspected fraudulent transaction. Those aren't marketing and they're the reason people catch a problem in minutes rather than at the end of the month.
Nine times out of ten it's network delay. Wait sixty seconds, then use Resend code rather than requesting a new sign-in, and check that the app has permission to receive notifications.
If nothing lands after two attempts, call 920 00 4444 from the number registered on the account. We can verify you on the call and reset access without you needing the code.
Not yet. Every Yusr Current account belongs to one person, aged 18 or over, holding a valid Saudi ID or Iqama. Joint accounts are on the roadmap and we'll say so in the app when they arrive rather than quietly launching them.
If you're saving towards something with someone else, a shared Yusr Goal is the closest thing we have today.
Topic 02
Cards
Your Yusr Card runs on the mada network inside the Kingdom, with international scheme rails for online and overseas spending. More detail on the card page.
Physical cards reach Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam in two to three working days, and the rest of the Kingdom in about five. You'll get a tracking link the moment it leaves us.
You don't have to wait. Your digital card is live the second your account opens — add it to Apple Pay or Google Pay from the card screen and pay with your phone that afternoon.
Card → Card settings → View or change PIN. You'll confirm with your fingerprint or face, then the PIN appears on screen for thirty seconds. Changing it takes effect immediately on every ATM and terminal.
We never post PINs and we never read one out over the phone. If somebody claiming to be from Yusr asks you for it, they aren't from Yusr.
Freeze it first — Card → Freeze, one tap, instant. A frozen card declines everything but keeps your standing payments and subscriptions alive, so if it turns up in a jacket pocket you just unfreeze it and carry on.
If it's genuinely gone, tap Report lost or stolen. That cancels the card permanently and orders a replacement with a new number, free of charge. Your digital card is reissued within a minute so you're not stranded while the plastic is in the post.
We apply a 2.5% foreign currency fee on the converted amount, shown to you in the app alongside the transaction rather than buried in a statement six weeks later. Cash withdrawals at overseas ATMs carry a SAR 25 charge on top, plus whatever the ATM operator adds.
If a terminal offers to charge you in riyals instead of the local currency, decline it. That conversion is the merchant's, not ours, and it is almost always worse.
Check the app first: every decline is listed with a plain reason — insufficient balance, card frozen, online payments switched off, a limit reached, or a payment we held for review.
Online purchases from unfamiliar merchants and first-time terminals abroad are the two most common holds. If we've paused something, you'll get a notification asking you to confirm it was you; approving it lets the payment through on the next attempt.
Yes, and we'd encourage it. Under card settings you can switch off online payments, overseas payments, contactless and ATM withdrawals independently, and set your own daily spending cap below the standard limit.
Plenty of customers keep overseas payments off permanently and flip them on the morning they travel. It takes a second and it removes an entire category of fraud.
Topic 03
Payments and transfers
Yusr Send moves money between Yusr customers instantly. Everything leaving the bank goes over SARIE, the national transfer system. See Yusr Send for the full picture.
Yusr to Yusr is instant, any hour, any day. To another Saudi bank it goes over SARIE and normally arrives within seconds; the receiving bank sets the final pace, and a handful still batch incoming payments overnight.
Every transfer shows a status in the app — sent, received, or returned — so you're never guessing whether it left.
New accounts start at SAR 20,000 per transfer and SAR 50,000 a day. After ninety days of normal activity that rises automatically to SAR 100,000 a day.
You can request a higher limit in the app under Payments → Limits. Larger amounts usually need a short explanation of what the payment is for — a property deposit, a car, tuition — which is a regulatory requirement for a bank of our size, not us being nosy.
Tell us immediately through chat or on 920 00 4444. If the money is still with us we can often stop it before it settles. Once it has reached another bank we have to ask that bank to approach the recipient, and they can only return it with the recipient's agreement.
We'll open a case, chase it for you and tell you honestly where it stands rather than leaving you to wonder. The best protection is the confirmation screen: check the name that comes back before you tap send.
Yes — Payments → Scheduled. Pick a beneficiary, an amount, a start date and how often it repeats. Rent, school fees and family support are what most people use it for.
If the balance is short on the day, we retry the following morning and tell you rather than failing silently. You can pause or cancel any scheduled payment up to the moment it runs.
Open the transaction and tap Get help with this. That attaches the payment reference to your chat automatically, so the agent picking it up can see exactly which transfer you mean without you copying anything across.
We'll trace it with the receiving bank. Most cases resolve inside one working day, and if the money can't be delivered it comes back to your account with the original date preserved.
No. Yusr Send between customers is free and unlimited. SARIE transfers to other Saudi banks are free as well — there's no per-transfer charge and no monthly bundle to buy.
We don't currently offer international outbound transfers. If you need to send money abroad, you'll need a bank that does.
Topic 04
Yusr Later
Split an eligible purchase into four payments over six weeks, with no interest. Yusr Later is provided in partnership with Taysir Finance Company. Full terms on the Yusr Later page.
Taysir Finance Company, our partner on Yusr Later, runs its own affordability assessment when you first switch the feature on and reviews it as you use it. Taysir is licensed by the Saudi Central Bank in its own right.
Eligibility isn't only about your balance — how long you've been with us, how regularly money comes in, and any Later payments you've already got running all count. You'll see your available Later limit on the Later screen whenever it changes.
You pay 25% at checkout. The remaining three payments come out of your Yusr Current account automatically, two weeks apart, and the schedule is on screen before you confirm — dates and amounts, no small print.
Purchases between SAR 100 and SAR 5,000 are eligible. There is no interest and no fee for using Later.
We notify you the day before each payment is due and again if it fails, then retry over the next few days. Yusr Later has no late fees.
What does happen is that new Later purchases are paused until the balance is settled, and a persistently unpaid balance can affect your credit record the same way any other financing would. If you're struggling, talk to us early — call 920 00 4444 and we'll work something out with Taysir rather than letting it drift.
The merchant processes the refund as normal. When it reaches us we cancel the outstanding payments and refund whatever you've already paid, usually within three to five working days of the merchant releasing it.
Partial refunds shrink each remaining payment proportionally rather than clearing the front of the schedule, so the end date stays where it was.
Any time, at no cost. Open the purchase under Later and tap Settle now. The full remaining amount comes out of your account and the schedule closes.
Settling early frees up your Later limit immediately, which is worth knowing if you're waiting to use it on something else.
Topic 05
Security and fraud
If you think something is wrong with your account, do not wait for business hours. Freeze your card in the app and call 920 00 4444. More on how we protect accounts on the security page.
Freeze your card first, then open the transaction and tap I don't recognise this. That raises a dispute straight away and tells us to look at everything else on the account from the same period.
Some entries look unfamiliar for innocent reasons — merchants often bill under a parent company's name. The app shows the merchant's location and the exact time, which usually settles it in a few seconds.
We acknowledge every dispute the same day. Card disputes follow the scheme timetable, which gives the merchant a window to respond, so a straightforward case takes around ten working days and a contested one can run longer.
You'll get an update at every stage rather than silence. Where the case is clear cut we credit the amount back provisionally while it's investigated.
Yusr checks payments as they happen against how your account normally behaves — the device, the location, the merchant, the amount, the time of day. A payment that sits well outside that pattern is held for a moment rather than let through.
You'll be asked to confirm it in the app. Confirm it and the payment goes ahead; tell us it wasn't you and we lock the card down and start a case. Occasionally a held payment needs a short look from our risk team before it clears, and we'll say so.
Assume it wasn't. Yusr will never ask you for your PIN, your full card number, a one-time code, or your app password. We will never ask you to move money to a “safe account” — no such thing exists at any bank.
Hang up and call 920 00 4444 yourself, or open a chat in the app. If we really were trying to reach you, the request will still be there when you come to us.
Freeze your card in the app, then call 920 00 4444 immediately and say it's fraud. Speed matters more than anything else here — money that is still in transit can sometimes be stopped, money that has settled rarely can.
We'll secure the account, reissue your card, review recent activity with you and open a case. You should also report it through the Anti-Fraud Reporting channels and keep any messages or numbers involved.
Turn on biometric sign-in, keep the app updated, and switch off the card controls you don't use — online, overseas, ATM. Set a daily spending cap you'd actually notice being exceeded.
Then read your notifications. The single most effective security control any bank has is a customer who spots an alert for a payment they didn't make and calls within the hour.
Topic 06
Closing your account
Leaving should be as easy as joining, and it doesn't cost anything. If you're going because something went wrong, tell us on the way out — we read every reason given.
Profile → Account settings → Close my account. We'll show you anything that needs settling first, ask you to move out the remaining balance, and confirm on screen. You can also ask us to do it by phone on 920 00 4444.
Closure completes within one working day once everything is settled. There is no fee and no notice period.
Any outstanding Yusr Later payments, any pending card transactions that haven't settled, and any scheduled payments still due to run. The app lists all of it in one place so nothing surprises you.
Move your salary, subscriptions and standing orders to the new account before you close this one. A closed account rejects incoming payments rather than holding them.
You transfer it out yourself before closing, to your own account at another bank or to someone else's. If a small amount lands after closure — a refund, a final salary adjustment — we'll contact you on the details we hold and return it to an account in your name.
We never keep a leftover balance. It stays yours regardless of how long it takes to reunite you with it.
You're welcome back any time. A returning customer goes through the application again from the start, because your identity documents and details need to be current.
As a licensed bank we're required to retain certain records after an account closes, and we do. What we hold and for how long is set out in our privacy notice.
Still stuck?
Ask us instead of guessing
Chat is open in the app right now. If it's urgent — a card you can't use, a payment you didn't make — pick up the phone and we'll deal with it on the call.
